Jersey Barriers
Jersey Barrier
A protective concrete barrier used as a divider and a means of preventing access to a prohibited area. Use for construction sites, traffic channelizing, road blocks, object protection, wall protection, and pedestrian traffic. Barriers utilize a steel rebar cage; reinforced barriers have a tongue and groove line-up connection. These barriers are NOTapproved by DOT for highway use, but are an economical alternative where a barricade is necessary.
Each barrier weighs 5,780 lbs. using 1.5 cubic yards of concrete. The standard length is 12'-6".
